Stainless steel offers us a luxurious packaging option. It is one of the most environmentally friendly, safe and reusable materials available in our everyday life. Constructed with food grade stainless steel, our vessels offer us a real solution to realise Aermeda’s sustainability goal.
Purchasing our aluminium bottle refills you can help us in our efforts. Once you have three clean empty refill bottles you can return them free of charge and we will reward you with15% off your next refill. They will be sterilised and repurposed, thus closing the loop.
If damaged or, you choose not to return, they are 100% recyclable.

Aesthetically pleasing and soft to the touch wet or dry, our ropes adhere to our principles for an environmentally sound product.
Aermeda ropes are 100% cotton and made from recycled threads - no water, toxic chemicals or dyes are used in their production (Oeko-Tex certification).
Recycled cotton textile is threaded to a dust and then mixed into specific proportions to make the desired shade. The fibres are then spun into the thread the rope is made of.
Our product packaging is designed and printed in Otago, New Zealand.
Constructed from FSC paper, conforming to exacting social and environmental guidelines means all Aermeda packaging is compostable.
Your order from Aermeda will arrive packed without excess in - fully compostable 100% paper packaging.
Always looking to minimise waste, our closures are off cuts from our soap ropes!
Sometimes packaging is not necessary so, to reduce waste, we offer all our soaps as ‘naked’ unboxed soaps. These are only available online and come with a small label with ingredients listed.
This option will save you money, as well as unnecessary waste.
Because what your products do not contain is as important as what they do, Aermeda Soaps do not contain any unnecessary or harmful ingredients. We have never used Palm oils and there is no Sodium Laurel Sulphate or artificial fragrances in any of our products.
We use only the best quality, natural ingredients, plant oils, butters and essential oils in our products that are sustainable and will be beneficial to your skin and considerate to our planet.
We buy local where available. Our small hand-milked dairy herd contribute milk while, our free range chickens provide for the egg yolk soap.
We acknowledge we are not perfect. Despite our best efforts we are still working on a replacement for the plastic plug droppers and our vessel lids. These can be reused multiple times but we feel there must be a better option out there!
