Using traditional methods combined with modern values, each unique soap variety is designed and produced by hand in artisan size batches using all natural ingredients
Our plant oils and butters work in harmony to nourish and cleanse without stripping the skin. Our own heard of goats contribute their milk and our free range chicken their eggs.

Our soaps are made in the traditional cold process method to preserve the natural goodness of the ingredients.
Goat milk soap
Goat milk soap is beneficial for all skin types. Recognised for its restorative and rejuvenating properties, goats milk has featured widely in natural skin and body care products for over a thousand years. Naturally high in saturated and unsaturated fat, goat milk creates a soap that is creamy, gentle, and nourishing.
The main benefit of goat milk in soap is that it contains natural alpha hydroxy acids, in particular lactic acid. This group of acids are used widely throughout the cosmetic industry in anti-aging products but are often synthetically made. Alpha hydroxy acids help to remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin by breaking down the bonds that hold these cells together. This is why goat milk soap is particularly recommended for those with skin conditions or sensitive skin.
Annatto infused olive oil gives this citrus scrub its stunning bight sunny tone. The Blue Poppy Seeds and a mix of organic orange and lemon peel powder are effective in gently exfoliating your skin as well as adding to the aesthetic appeal of this soap.
Fragranced with an invigorating aroma of citrus essential oils selected for their antimicrobial, anti-bacterial and deodorising properties. The blend includes Orange, Pink Grapefruit, Litsea Cubeba and Lemongrass.
Formulated with hydrating oils and butters of shea and cocoa to produce a luxurious lather leaving the skin feeling smooth, healthy and refreshed.
Available as a soap on a rope or bar to provide a plastic free, long lasting cleansing bar. Available boxed or unboxed.

Vegan plant-based milk soap
We have also created a collection of vegan soaps with organic milks derived from Almond, Coconut and Rice.
Coconut Milk is rich in vitamins and minerals which helps maintain elasticity and flexibility in the skin, it is said to prevent wrinkles and age spots. Coconut milk gives our soap a creamy, bubbly consistency.
Rice Milk is an excellent source of anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant compounds, which helps soothe the skin.
Almond Milk contains proteins, minerals and vitamins. It has anti-ageing properties helping skin regenerate naturally.
Bastille soap is closely related to Castille soap. While Castille soap contains 100% olive oil any cold process soap made with at least 70% olive oil is considered a Bastille soap.
Our Milk Bastille soaps that are 80% Olive Oil with the remaining 20% made up of high quality butters and oils.
The purple hue of our vegan bastille soap is achieved by infusing Alkanet or Ratanjot root in olive oil for over 6 months. Alkanet root also has astringent and anti-inflammatory properties.
Rice milk was our plant milk of choice for this soap, resulting in a mild soap with good moisturising properties. It helps cleanse and exfoliate the skin. Like all Aermeda soaps, our Bastille contains no water - the liquid component is 100% milk..
A blend of three essential oils (Orange, Clary Sage and Ylang Ylang) is subtle and unites the earthy, herbaceous, floral and slightly fruity notes to evoke serenity and relaxation.
We think Bastille soap is wonderful, as it combines the rich skin soothing qualities of Castile soap, but you still have the cleansing ability and great lather that other oils can provide!
Incredibly mild, our formulation has a creamy, conditioning lather – and the sugar in the milk boosts the bubbles too! The high Olive Oil content makes it the perfect soap for sensitive or delicate skin.
